X-Opaque Fabric

We’ve designed a fantastic technical fabric called X-Opaque to help our swimwear remain comfortable even when spending all day wearing it. The X-Opaque technology means the suit is opaque even when wet, protects from harmful UV rays and even helps you to remain cooler for longer.

YKK Zip

All of our zippered swimwear comes with a YKK zip to prevent any inconvenient wardrobe malfunctions, slipped zips or, even worse, a torn zip. Ultraviolet Protection Factor 50+

Of course, in the Aussie summers, we know how important ultraviolet protection is, which is why our swimwear fabric offers UPF 50+. Our understanding of the Australian climate and how we have engineered such technical fabrics to perform in our climate is a real testament to our values. We love being able to manufacture quality sportswear right here in Australia! 

But how do all of these technical qualities support the environment? Well, all of these impressive qualities mean you won’t need to rush out to repurchase garments every few months. Our products are created to last, which definitely helps reduce your carbon footprint.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

That’s not the only way we support the environment at SCODY, though. We spend a lot of our time considering how we can streamline the manufacturing process to reuse more products and recycle wherever possible. 

Where possible, we use recycled yarns. Our polyester waste is sent for processing into polyester feedstock. We use natural light where possible. Our power is largely generated by our own solar panels, and we only use LEDs for lighting. We have all but eliminated plastic from our business. Our business model is made to order, and there is very little pre-consumer waste. We are also able to separate our waste and recycle wherever possible. Pretty impressive, right?
